WENATCHEE - Property crimes are spiraling out of hand in the Wenatchee Valley, according to Wenatchee Police Chief Edgar Reinfeld; one of the more recent heists at a retirement facility is a testament to that.

Colonial Vista Post Acute and Rehabilitation Administrator Andrea Roberts reached out to Source ONE News this week to report thefts that occurred at their property in the 600 block of Okanogan Avenue in Wenatchee. Roberts says the thieves infiltrated the premises on Sunday, Oct. 13, and approached a pile of packaged electric, adjustable hospital beds in the loading area of the facility at around 4 a.m. The perpetrators lifted two packaged beds on carts they were towing with their bicycles to transport the loot. Each bed is valued at $1,275 each.

Chief Reinfeld told Source ONE News that the carts were located near the Senator George Sellar Bridge but the beds and the suspects were nowhere to be found. A security video of the suspects and a photo have been posted in hopes that someone will come forward with the tip needed to find culprits.
